Are your sample coding exams actually AAPC Exams?
No, Ritecode.com makes no attempt to copy an actually Coding Exam from any association. The authors are certified coders and we have accumulated a database of questions from over ten years of training coders. The exams are sold as “representative” exams and every attempt has been made to simulate both the type and the feel of the actual questions.
Many questions incorporate testing tricks designed specifically to either trick or mislead and therefore test the thoroughness of the student’s coding knowledge.
We have sold well over a thousand exams over our history and many students have reported that our sample exam was better than a crash-course seminar costing well over five times the price.
What is the difference between Exam 1 and 2?
They are two, separate exams. Each has 150 multiple-choice questions. There are no duplicate questions. The level of difficulty is about the same. Exam 2 does have more surgical Op Reports. It has about 20 while Exam 1 has 9 - 12.
Each 150 question exam takes a full five to 5.5 hours to complete. It should take at least two hours to read through the detailed explanations included with the exams.
What happens after I purchase a sample, coding exam?
All exams purchases are answered promptly after payment, most within an hour. On occasion it can take 24 hours for a reply.
The main reason students don’t receive the attached exam file is due to security or Spam filters on your computer or organization network. Be sure to check your Spam folder, your Bulk Mail folder, or your network security administrator. Be sure that emails are not blocked from ritecode.com
If you have not received your sample exam within 36 hours (Monday through Friday) either E-mail me at email@example.com (preferred) or call Ritecode.com at 901-517-1705.
What is the best way to study a sample exam?
I give this advice often. It is best to study the sample exam on a Saturday morning, 9 am to 2 pm, with your coding manuals, answer sheet and number two pencil in a quiet location without ANY interruptions.
In other words, take it just like the actual exam. Be sure to bring a portable clock or watch. Time yourself to no more than two minutes per question (ouch!)
When will I receive my sample exam?
Often you will receive it within minutes or a few hours during normal business hours.
Someone at ritecode.com does need to receive the order and send the exam. We are online most of the time, including evenings and weekends.
If you have not received the sample exam after 24 hours (Mon-Fri) please contact us, first by E-mail and then by phone. We will resend the exam.
Also, check your spam and bulk mail folders, as well as your security software. Sometimes security or spam software will delete emails with attachments.
It's been two days and I have not heard anything from you.
Most E-mails are answered with minutes or hours during normal business hours. We are online all day. If more than two-days has passed, we have sent the information, and for any number of reasons, it was lost in cyberspace or your Spam filter.
We assume you received the log-in instructions or sample exam. There is no way for us to know you did not receive it.
Always contact us, first by E-mail, then by phone, if you have not received your product with two days.
